Does a membership include all of my children or do I need to
purchase multiple memberships?
There is no need to purchase more than one membership. You can purchase access for multiple children within your family membership. Each child will have their own account that they can use to sign in and practise. The program adapts to each child's skill level and will track their progress individually.
Pricing for family memberships starts at just A$9.95/month or A$79/year. Each additional child costs A$2/month or A$20/year. For more information or to purchase a family membership, go to http://au.ixl.com/membership/family/pricing and select your desired membership option to view pricing details.

Do you offer a trial membership for family users?
We only offer trials for teachers. We don't offer them for family memberships because parents have the option of purchasing a monthly membership instead of committing to a full year. We do allow you to complete up to 20 questions per day for free, so that you can try us out before purchasing a membership.

Are the children in my membership restricted to
practising one year level?
IXL does not limit children to one year level. With your membership, your children get access to all the year levels available on the site!

Can I pay in a different currency?
All prices for IXL's Australia edition are in Australian dollars. Your credit card company will convert the funds on your statement to your currency, based on the exchange rate at that time.

Do you accept any form of payment other than credit card?
The easiest way to pay is via credit card here. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you do not have a credit card, please contact our Membership Services department at support@ixl.com for more information on alternate forms of payment.

Do you accept PayPal?
The easiest way to purchase a membership is via credit card here. If you'd prefer to pay via PayPal, we can accept PayPal for annual memberships. For more information, please contact support@ixl.com.

How do I add a child to my membership?
To add a child to your membership, sign in to your IXL parent account, then go to the Membership tab and click Manage your account. From here, click Add children, make the appropriate selections and click Confirm.

If I add a child during the course of my membership, will the price be reduced?
Yes, when you add a child to your membership, the cost will be adjusted to reflect the time remaining in your billing period.

How do I update my credit card information?
To update your credit card information, sign in to your IXL parent account and go to the Membership tab, then click Manage your account. In the Billing details section, click Edit and make your changes. Please be sure to click Update when finished, so your changes are saved.

I have a monthly membership and would like to switch to
an annual membership.
Can I apply the payments I made toward the monthly membership to
an annual membership?
Unfortunately, we cannot apply payments from your monthly membership to your new annual membership. When you switch to an annual membership, the change takes effect after your current month ends. That way you will not lose the time you have already paid for.
To easily switch to an annual membership, sign in to your IXL parent account and go to the Membership tab, then click Manage your account. From here, click switch to annual.

Can I put my monthly membership on hold?
Certainly! You can put your monthly membership on hold for up to 3 months. To put your membership on hold, sign in to your IXL parent account and go to the Membership tab, then click Manage your account. From here, click Put membership on hold.

How do I cancel my membership?
You can easily cancel your membership at any time. Simply sign in to your IXL parent account and go to the Membership tab, then click Manage your account. From here, click Cancel membership. Be sure to click Submit to complete the cancellation. Your membership will remain active until your current billing period ends.

If I cancel my membership, will I receive a pro rata credit?
Unfortunately, we do not offer pro rata refunds or credits for any partially used membership periods. You may cancel your IXL membership at any time. Once you have canceled your membership, your credit card will not be charged again. You will continue to have access to the program until the current billing period ends.

Can I use IXL on an iPad?
Yes, an iPad is a great way to practice skills and win awards on IXL! A few IXL features, such as reports and interactive graphing skills, utilize Adobe Flash and, therefore, are not supported on the iPad. We recommend using a computer for these tasks.
